Young Harris College

Young Harris College is the gem of the valley. This school founded in 1886 by a travelling Methodist minister has taught some of the most interesting and unique people in Georgia. The school is now a four year institution with instructors of a caliber unknown at other schools.

While visiting Young Harris you can hike the Appalachian Trail, see the highest point in Georgia on Brasstown Bald mountain, see live music at the
