Coweta County African American Heritage Museum Research Center-As the county’s 1st museum of its kind, you will find exhibits on African-American history, genealogies, and architecture. There are also a variety of artifacts and records available as well. The museum is located in the old Ruby Caswell home.
Male Academy Museum- For Civil War artifacts, weaponry, maps and paintings, this is the place to spend a few hours learning about Coweta County’s part in the War Between the States.

The Lewis Grizzard Museum, Moreland - see memorabilia of the nationally celebrated humorist, Lewis Grizzard, here in his hometown. You will see his old typewriter, family photos, manuscripts and other Grizzard family mementos.
