New Hampshire tourism offers many selections, some are well known like the dozens of covered bridges, Mt Washington towns like Hanover or Portsmouth and a number of attractions such as Santa's village, Franklin falls Dam or Canobie Lake Park. - The Grand Trunk Railroad Museum-Take steps back in time as you learn about the trains of the New Hampshire North Country.
- Nansen Ski Jumps-Used in the 1930's as the location for the Olympic tryouts, the 170 foot steel frame ski jump is now used for sports of a different nature. Today you can enjoy fishing, boating and picnicking. The ski jump is the second highest steel tower jump in America.
- Gorham Hill and the Gorham Moose Tours-On Gorham Hill you will be awed by the view of the Presidential Range and Mount Washington, then be sure to sign up for a Moose tour. The three hour wildlife tour offers plenty of animal sightings from the comfort of an air conditioned bus.
- Thirteen Mile Woods-Spend some time on the beautiful woods. You are welcomed to fish, kayak and canoe these rolling rapids.
- Go On a Fire Tower Hike-New Hampshire has 13 historic fire towers open to the public. If you climb 5 of them you get a patch. To get you started here are half a dozen of them. Magalloway Mountain (Pittsburg), Mount Cardigan (Newfoundland Lake) Kearsarge Mountain (Wilmont), Mount Belknap (Guilford, Blue Job Mountain (Farmington) and Stoddard's Pitcher Mountain (Keene\Monadnock Region)The treks to the towers range from easy to strenuous, also be sure to bring your binoculars!
