Danielsville, Georgia

Located in Madison County, Danielsville, Georgia is yet another of Georgia’s many family-friendly towns.  It is but a short drive from the University of Georgia and only 80 miles from Atlanta, The town is the birthplace of Dr. Crawford W. Long, the place of schooling for photographer Rhonda Beusse Thompson, the home of Georgia’s third oldest church, New Hope Presbyterian, and the site of one of Georgia’s most ornate courthouses. • Watson Mill Bridge State Park- This 1,200 acre state park offers over 30 campsites, hiking trails, fishing, volleyball court, horse trails, canoeing, and paddle boats as well as covered pavilions ideal for family picnics and  group activities.


• The Sammy A. Haggard Park features baseball fields, tennis courts, a lighted football field, playgrounds, walking trails, and is the place to go to get to know the people of the community.
