Best Places to Live in Georgia

Georgia has a lot of great communities. Here are a few of our favorite places to live in GA for families or anyone that wants a better quality of life.

Suwanee

The best place to live in Georgia is Suwanee and the surrounding area. This community north east of Atlanta sits on highway 85 making it accessible to Atlanta, but with all the great employment opportunities in and around Suwanee you may not need to commute to the city anyway.

Suwanee, Georgia leads the region in the building of new parks and exclusive, yet affordable, neighborhoods. The new live/work/play mixed development in old town Suwanee is a great place for families and those that want the most out of life. One of the best place to live in the Suwanee area is the Edgewater neighborhood off of Collins Hill rd. With top rated schools, low crime, and beautiful homes Edgewater is a prime location. Suwanee is close to the North Georgia Mountains, a few hours from the coast, and a short drive to Atlanta. The Gwinnett Civic Center is next door where you can see popular bands like Michael Buble and Coldplay as well as live sporting events like ice hockey.

Money Magazine named Suwanee one of the best places to live

Newnan

If you are looking for the old South consider Newnan, GA. This historic town has streets lined with homes that were built during and after the antebellum era. Newnan boast great schools and an easy drive to Atlanta. If you want to experience everything a town can be check out Newnan on the Fourth of July when parades and a fireworks show make the city come alive. You’ll be surprised how many people smile and say hello as you walk the streets.

Jefferson

For an up and coming community try Jefferson, Georgia. This country town is growing by leaps and bounds, but still has many affordable homes and land. The people are friendly and welcoming. The school system is growing and improving as well and is on track to being a leader in the state.
