About the State of Georgia

The list of pages you see on the left will guide you to specifics about the State of Georgia. The Peach State, as often called, is the leader of the South. In 1996 Georgia hosted the Olympic Games. During the process leading up to the games we became not only a leading state but a leader in the world. Beginning with Governor Jimmy Carter the state has made a rapid ascent with no end in site.

The history of Georgia is a painful one and we try not to forget what brought us to where we are today, but at the same time we don’t let the mistakes and pain of the past keep us from current and future successes. Take time to get to know Georgia and if you’re a guest we hope you enjoy your time here.
